Today I am going to share one of my favorite dish - shrimp tacos, they are so easy to make and they taste incredible.
Shrimp Tacos Ingredients
For shrimp marination:
- 225 g shrimps (peeled and deveined),
- 2 tbsp lemon juice,
- 1/2 tsp salt,
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika,
- 1/2 tsp onion powder,
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder,
- 1/2 tsp white pepper,
- 1/2 tsp black pepper,
- 1 tsp cumin powder,
For mango salsa:
- 1 mango (chopped)
- 1 avocado (chopped)
- 1 tomato (chopped)
- 1 jalapeno (chopped)
- 1/2 bunch of fresh cilantro leaves (chopped)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
For sauce:
- 1/2 cup sour cream (can mayonnaise too)
- 2 tsp cilantro leaves
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
For assembling:
- 6 flour tortillas
- 1 tbsp cilantro leaves
- fresh lemon juice
Shrimp Tacos Method
1. In a bowl combine shrimps along with others spices and lemon juice and mix them well. Now in a hot pan drizzle some oil and cook shrimps 2 to 3 minutes per side then transfer into a different dish and keep it aside.
2. Now on the other hand, prepare mango salsa, in a bowl combine all the salsa ingredients and toss them well.
3. For the sauce combine sour cream, lemon juice and cilantro and mix well.
4. Toss the tortillas on a hot pan until slightly crunchy and golden brown.
5. For assembling take a tortilla, apply some sauce then some mango salsa the a layer of delicious shrimps then drizzle some more sauce, garnish it with some fresh cilantro leaves (chopped) and squeeze some fresh lemon juice and enjoy.
